Zach’s Season Record: 87-72

Back at it Zach to the Rackers – and It’s Cinco de Mayo, not Cinco de O.J. Mayo. (What happened to O.J. Mayo by the way? Dude was a baller…) But I’m feeling good this week after my 3-1 Monday. Hopefully, this will mark my return to GLORY – whereas the last few weeks I’d been returning to the GLORY HOLE. What? Sorry – I’m already 7 Modelos deep and I just wanna get you some big money to go out and celebrate somewhere tonight.

Alright, back to basketball. The game of the night is the Nuggets-Knicks, but that’s looking too close to pick. I’m more interested in the 76ers’ recent domination of everybody – but instead, I’m gonna trust my instincts and pick the teams looking to make a statement as they race to the playoffs. There’s a lot to be decided before the playoffs begin… so before Aaron Rodgers signs a 10-Day with the Brooklyn Nets, let’s pour another round of El Cazador tequila and don’t swallow the Rodman. (That means don’t swallow “The Worm…” get it?)

Sorry. I’m drunk.

Sacramento Kings @ Indiana Pacers: Indiana -6.5 (-105)

Point Total: Under 239.5 (-106)

Sabonis and the mighty Pacers have been one of my favorite teams all season, but at the same time, the surprising Sac-Town Kings have actually cost me a lot of money this season when guys like De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton are on fire – but Fox is still out and Haliburton’s season is likely over following his scary knee injury two nights ago. So look for the Pacers to roll here – not sure if you can get in this bet early, but the line is subject to change once the Kings announce that Haliburton is done for the year.

Points-wise – I’d stay with the UNDER here – even though the Pacers have been scoring more recently than Bill Gates with his ex-girlfriend. (Shout out Bill, how’d you pull that deal off with the wife?) 239.5 seems like a lot for a depleted Kings team. If they hit more than that, you should bet on Sabonis to get a triple-double. (THAT prop bet has won me some $ this season.)

William Hill RF500 - 728x90

Phoenix Suns @ Atlanta Hawks: Phoenix -1.5 (-105)

Point Total: Over 228 (-117)

How are the Phoenix Suns only favored by 1.5 against the Atlanta Hawks? I know the ATL has been balling out lately, but is the league still disrespecting Phoenix? More people pay attention to Tristan Thompson’s alleged 9th affair on Khloé Kardashian than they do about Chris Paul being a legitimate MVP candidate. I don’t see Atlanta winning this game – or even keeping it close. Take the 1.5 and the Suns – and mumble to your friend something like, “I know Deandre Ayton is supposed to be a bust, but he actually isn’t too bad…”

Points-wise – take the OVER. I love watching Booker go off and Trae Young try and match him… I’m a little nervous about missing this one by 0.5 points like I have a few times this season, but maybe this battle just gets to be a late-season showcase for these two… If I’m wrong you can boo me like the Yankee Stadium fans did the Trashtros yesterday. At least I’m not hitting trash cans, I’m just hitting LOCKS! Get paid and celebrate Cinco de Mayo somewhere…

Don’t swallow the Rodman.
